Boyfriend works Offshore

My Boyfriend works offshore and We are trying for a baby. Luckily, his week home and my fertility window has been lining up. Yet, that is a bout to change for the next few months according to glow, his homecoming is now line up with AF (if I don’t get pregnant this cycle)

Long story short, I got me thinking about what’s going to happen when the baby comes. We live hours away from family and friends. I’m a loner, when he ain’t home It’s just work and sleep. I’m scared he won’t be there for majority of everything (mostly the birth)

I know a lot of women have to deal with. Well, I’m from Louisiana and men with jobs that take them away is very common). My dad works offshore and i don’t really remember how that effect us when I was little. I think my mother revolved everything around him, because I don’t remember him missing out on anything.

How do you cope with it? How does it effect you and your kids? Etc.
