Irriatated vagina

Hi everyone, my labia has recently been irritated and doesn’t feel “itchy” I just have a discomfort and when I scratch it it doesn’t go away, has this happened to anyone before? Iv recently started to use a gentle vaginal wash so I’m not sure if it could be that ?
