i just got my snake bites piercing done not even a week ago. i know after i smoke, eat and drink (anything but water) i should clean my mouth area.

BUT!

my boyfriend is hesitant about me giving him oral because he thinks it will make my lip infected or hurt me. (i mean it always hurts but still!)

so. does anyone have any tips, advice, knowledge etc for me? this is my first piercing done (besides my ears) and i need someone to give me their advice.
