My mom believes tampons make you too comfortable with putting “things in you”. I called her while she was at the store and tried asking her to get me tampons instead of pads because I don’t like the feeling of pads. She freaked out on me literally started screaming how it’s not okay and freaking out she made me feel so ashamed and overall just awful about myself and wanting to use tampons. I told her it was my body and she can’t make that decision for me but she refuses to ever buy them for me and I’m only 15 so I don’t have a job and I have other priorities to save for so I guess I’m going to have to figure it out she came home with pads instead and told me I get what I get and she won’t support me using tampons I just wish she didn’t react that way and now I feel like garbage
