Preterm Labor

So....I'm 34 weeks and I went to L&D today for spotting and painful cramps. Turns out I am having strong contractions and I am 50% thinned out but not dilating at all yet. I got an injection to stop the contractions and it did not work so I got an oral med to stop preterm labor and that didn't stop it either lol. Sooooo the doctor said I can go home and come back if it gets worse or stay in the hospital and be monitored. I chose to come home because I hate hospitals and he said that some women especially with their second baby have contractions and dilate for weeks before they actually deliver. Fun day!!
