So I had my Nexplanon removed a few months ago after having it in for a year and a half. We want another baby and the side effects were too much for me. Since my cycles have returned I noticed they changed from before I used Nexplanon

- cycles are shorter by 2 to three days but still regular

-periods are shorter from 7 days preNexplanon to 5 days after removal

- bleeding consistency has changed before it started as brown blood, the bright red, dark red, before finishing as brown spotting. Now it’s bright red blood all the way through my period with no clots where before I had clots regularly.

-no cramps during my actual period. Before Nexplanon I had very painful cramps the first two days. Now I have minor cramps the week before.

Has anyone else experienced significant changes to their cycle after Nexplanon removal. I’m trying to get pregnant and I’m usually pretty fertile and wondering what’s normal and what’s not.
