Short periods

So I've been doing some reading.... Does randomly shorter periods have a sign towards pregnancy? I know that sounds really ignorant and dumb, but my periods went from being 7+ days long to 3 or 4 days long... Not exactly complaining just curious. I'm 22 and married for anyone wondering
