Ask a labor and delivery nurse... or call labor and delivery and ask how many moms are in labor... there is no scientific excuse but for some freak reason busier nights are on full moon nights.

Nope. The position of the moon relative to the earth and sun does not affect anything except maybe how bright it is outside.
