Getting babe to let dad soothe her

So for the first week or 2 the baby would let my husband give her a bottle and he was able to soothe her

Lately when she wakes up crying she won’t settle for him, won’t take a bottle from him she just cries until he gives her to me then she’ll calm right down.

I feel so bad because I want him to be able to hold her for more then 5 mins without her freaking out.

He’s calm about it and just says his time will come and that right now me and her have a bond because I was pregnant with her and use to nurse her.

Any one else have this happen or have tips to help get their bond going
