Hey all, I have recently started on the pill after around a year of not taking it. Last time I was on Levlen, which is a combination pill. My question is, since I have been put on to the progesterone only pill, how will I know that I'm not pregnant? On the combination pill there is a break and you can have your period, but there is no break on the mini pill, so how will I know? Also the doctor said that the reasons she didn't want to put me on the combination pill was because of having a bmi over 35.. the chemist lady thought this was odd and didn't know why the doctor would have recommended it for me, since there is no medical history that would put me at risk of anytbing. The only reasons I've seen on the internet for being prescribed the minipill is if you've just had a baby, if you have medical issues, or if you are over 35 years old... I thought perhaps the doctor said the wrong thing? I am only 20... Anyway thanks on advance ☺️☺️☺️
