Is child birth painful and scary for the baby?

Is child birth painful and scary for the baby? 
They ripped from the only home they have ever known and it looks like it could be painful being squeezed out of the birth canal then surrounded by lights, sounds, and people they have never seen before. 
So do you think child birth is scary and painful for the newborn baby?

I think it can be pretty scary for them, but not traumatizing. The delivery itself probably isn’t something they notice, but feeling cold and wet and being in a bright room with a lot of commotion and noise will probably overstimulate them. I think immediate skin to skin with mom is super important for that reason.

Some might get scared and some wont and pain wise it depends on the birth. Sadly, some babies do get hurt. Our bodies and their bodies are made for that so no i dont think its painful for them. Even with a C-section they are carefully taken out.  I do think its tiresome for them just as its tiresome for us. They can also hear and see some light in the womb so i dont think they get scared unless you flash a bright light and turn on a speaker right next to them while they sleep (which you shouldnt 😂). But for the most part most babies cry once they are born and then just fall asleep right away.

Yes. I think it’s scary for the baby. I’m not sure what else could be done though other than birthing though. There’s always the water births. I could see where that is maybe less but then again I don’t think a baby can breath underwater. So I would think thinking your gonna drown is scary too. I mean I get what your saying though I do think it’s scary for them and they may be freaked out. Then again they get kinda freaked out when you bathe them too but they get over all those things quick. Especially when you get them circumcised too. That’ll really shock em. They will forget all of it. Sorry 😐 
I mean really though there’s nothing more you can do other than swaddle feed and keep a calm environment.

Don't know if it's painful. Maybe to some degree, but they're made for it after all.
And it's definitely scary to get out into the real world.
But life is scary 🤷🏻‍♀️
