Baby floor seat worth it?

My two month old has been holding her head very steady lately. She loves sitting up but of course can’t sit up on her own. There’s a children’s consignment shop about 45 minutes from where I live and I was thinking about going and looking for a floor seat. Is it worth it?

I never used one. I just let little one get there on her own. Helped with pillows and hold her hands. It's best to let them develop that on their own. Every parent is different and I know several parents that got the Fisher price sit-me-up.

Not really. If your baby is ok being in a container for longer than 5 minutes then maybe, but since containers aren’t helpful for development it’s definitely not an essential piece of baby gear. I wouldn’t go very far out of my way to get one.

My 2 month old does the same thing, so I just put her boppy lounger at an angle in the corner of the couch and she loves it! That way when she gets tired she can slouch or lean over and still be supported. When she gets a bit older, I’ll probably switch to using a Bumbo seat

A 2 month old is way too young for a seat, perhaps after 3 months you can use one but it’s really not necessary, my son liked it but it was nothing special, also I’m not sure how much it retails at your consignment store but if you search on Facebook marketplace you will find plenty at super low prices

It’s a nice way to get them off of their head to avoid flat spots. I had the Fisher Price Sit Me Up and the Bumbo. I think the Fisher Price one is better.
