Stupid question???

Question

I am curious...the last test I took was a cheapie on 10/11 dpo (solely based on the app) and both were negative...I also started getting a nasty head cold on 10 dpo as well. I’ve been spotting a brown (sometimes pink) discharge as of yesterday and today. Could it be pregnancy or it is just my period??

I often spot a couple days before, just sometimes there is a bit when I wipe that’s it. Then nothing always get my hopes up few days later AF appears breaks my heart every time

It is normal to spot in early pregnancy. I would say maybe trying a more expensive test. I was using the .88 ones from Walmart- and i was getting nothing. But i knew something was different this month. I went and got a FRER and i had a line! 
But it could also be the stress of everything causing you to spot.
