Please explain?

I have one follicle ready for my trigger shot tonight. Why are they having me do it 12 hours before then for two days i come in for insemination? Most of you have said 36 hours before

The same happened to me. The nurse said it was because my blood work showed that my lh surge was already beginning Thursday morning (my iui was Friday). I was confused as well which is why I asked her!

I would trigger and do iui 36 hours after per my doctors office protocol

Could be their office protocol or when they have availability. My office told me then when it would be time to trigger tell have me come in either the next day or the day after depending on availability. Going before you end up ovulating is a good thing. You can still bd at home afterwards and know you still have a window. But if you're worried about it just call and ask them why.
