Buying some baby stuff?

Is it weird or dumb to be buying a few baby items when you start ttc? All I plan on buying is cloth diapers and maybe a onesie for a future announcement.

I've picked up a few things over the last year, books, outfits, shoes ect. I figure that by the time I actually am pregnant I'll have a nice little stock pile and it won't be so much to buy all at once 🤷

We've been trying for a baby for 6yrs now with 5 misscariages. And I still buy a few things here and there❤😊 
I just bought some gender neutral little shoes that are the cutest!!! If in the end I give up, I'll just gift them to someone.🤷‍♀️

We started a small pile of rainbow baby items for if/when we get pregnant again. My plan is that if we dont get pregnant I can gift it all to a close friend when she does
