In Labour and delivery feeling embarrassed because once again everything is fine and I worry for nothing.

I'm so stressed out. I haven't felt my baby move much the last couple days. Attributed it to how poorly I've been sleeping.

Usually shes kicking up a storm around 2200-00:00. Hard for me to settle to sleep when shes like that.

But for the last couple nights nothing. Last night I was woken with cramps and a stabbing pain below my ribs. Got up, emptied my bladder, drank cold milk, waited for movement, got a tiny bit before I finally got back to sleep. But once again nothing this morning despite this being usual for her! Call the advice nurse who talks to my doctor and he has me come in for monitoring.

So now I'm all hooked up and everything looks great!! I'm so sad and frustrated with myself!!😭😭😭

I know its not a bad thing and I know that's what they're paid for, but this is like the 5th or 6th time this has happened!!😭

39 weeks now, I would love the next time we're here to be her birthday.

This sucks😥😥

Update 1: While I know its not a HUGE deal, doc checked me, almost 2cm dilated, 10% effaced, having seemingly regular contractions. Hes ordered an ultrasound to check her activity there as well as her fluid levels.

Kinda freaking out because this is the first time I've been here that a staff member from L&D came in. Shes in charge of the baby warmer and helping with nursing. She introduced herself and let me know she would be present.

Update 2!!

At the hospital on low dose pitocin, dilated to almost 4cm, maybe baby!!♡
