I had a missed miscarriage a year ago so I've been really hesitant to celebrate this current pregnancy.

I'm 12 weeks and 1 day. Baby's heart rate was 170 or 171 bpm. The back of the neck measured at 3.4mm.

The ultrasound tech didn't mention any other issues to me. She said they would do the finger prick test and I could automatically qualified for a more in depth testing. She said she was pretty sure the finger prick test would come back as abnormal and let me get blood drawn today so that I can get the results in a couple of weeks.

I was told it could be Trisomy 13, 18, 21, another chromosomal abnormality, a heart defect, or it could be nothing.

Has anyone else done additional testing and what was your outcome?
