Has anyone let their LO lick food at 4 months?

I was eating a plum and my baby seemed interested so I let her lick it and she seemed to like it lol

My baby already eats baby food & mashed potatoes. He loves it!

Watermelon... and we got one of those nets for frozen food for teething and in that we put frozen banana and peach for her to gum on lol

No but he was |____| this close to wrapping his lips around my chocolate donut today 😂 he leant forward with his lips wider than I’d ever seen, I had to quickly swipe it away 🤣

Yes lol. I let her lick a mango pit and she was not impressed at all. Also she licked some watermelon earlier today and she did not like it either 🤷🏻‍♀️

Dont plan on feeding her until closer to 6 months but I let her smell food all the time and let her lick a banana yesterday becuse she was eyeing it down.

i let my LO have a lick of peanut butter and my husband let him lick ice cream. his 4 month appt is next week so we’ll be starting him on oatmeal/purées shortly after.
