Almost 3 weeks old and sleeping through the night?

So our baby girl is almost 3 weeks old and she will sleep from about 1230pm to about 6am. Is this absolutely un heard of?! Is anybody else’s baby doing this?! 😱

If she’s back at her birth weight and gaining ok I think it’s ok. My doctor told us when she got back to her birth weight it was ok to let her sleep and no medical reason to wake her up to eat. She said I could if I wanted to keep her on a schedule for my convenience, but not required.

My baby is the same! After she gained back her birth weight she started sleeping through the night. I feel lucky 😁

Fellow Kristina here. My baby could do 4-5 hours at 1.5-2 weeks. Once it was 6. I felt so guilty Bc before hitting birth weight it’s supposed to be 2-3 hrs or max max 4 between feeds and you have to wake them if they are sleeping. We hit our birth weight a few days ago and she’s just about 3 weeks. Ped still recommends 4 hours during the night just bc she’s so little. Even though originally they had said she didn’t have to be woken up in the night once she hit the birth weight! So I’m still going for 4 hours max during night and hoping at 1 month check up they’ll say she’s big enough to go longer.

Yes my daughter is 3 weeks 1 day and has been doing this from 2 weeks old.

They shouldn’t sleep more than 5 hours straight without eating at this age, (i think until 6 weeks) so i would wake them up once during that stretch for a nurse and change but otherwise that’s awesome for you!
