Is vaginal mucus a sign of pregnancy?

I’ve been having a good amount of vaginal mucus after going to the bathroom when I wipe. I don’t remember it being this heavy before my period and AF is 1 day late according to Glow. I took a pregnancy test yesterday and tested negative. 
But I was wondering if this heavy mucus could be a sign of pregnancy and maybe I tested too early? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I read that discharge is not an indication of pregnancy. The discharge you have is probably due to your period starting soon.

No if your late your test would tell you. 
Could be a late AF I wouldn’t look to discharge for pregnancy
