Did your LO's mongolian spots fade? Or are they still just as noticeable? I will be sending him to daycare when he is 6 weeks (only 3 weeks from now ☹) and I worry that people will mistake them for bruises.

I work in a daycare with two year olds. When I first saw them on one of my little boys I asked his mom about it just because I wanted to make sure I didn’t happen at the daycare. She explained it to me and that was that. If you explain it to the teachers when he starts they will understand what it is.

They don’t go away while they are little, but if there’s other ethnic children at the daycare where you send him they will know that it’s not a bruise.

My nephew has them, he was born with them and he is 7 months and still has them! 
She ( my sister )  was asked where they came from from multiple people and she just explains it to those people!
