My 2yr old has a fractured skull

Today I had a Dr appointment for my 2yr old to check her ears. Anyhow, on the way there I was walking through the parking lot and was carrying her because I didn't want to her to run in front of a car. She had wrapped her arms around my neck, hugging me. I stopped for a car and then started walking again, and the next thing I knew I was on the ground, on top of my daughter. She was crying, my elbows were bleeding, my spectacles had flung off my face. I had tripped over a traffic cone. Anyway, a young man came rushing to help us and I went up to the Dr and explained what had happened. He sent her for a skull xray to be sure, because she had a huge bump on her head. Turns out there's a fracture in her skull and she's been admitted for observation. She's been vomiting and now been sleeping since 3 hrs ago. We may need a cat scan tomorrow to check for bleeding. I feel so terrible for her. This is all my fault. 😭😭😭
