Where should the baby nap?

I’m a FTM so please no rude comments. Where should my baby nap during the day? In the bassinet where he’ll sleep at night or a swing or lounger in the living room?

My first born slept mostly in the boppy and the swing for her naps. Sometimes in my arms also(which i miss 😭). You’ll figure it out but I definitely suggest getting a boppy!

From what I’ve read (no personal experience, but a LOT of reading) letting the baby nap where there is light and noise so that they’re used to it and you don’t have to be silent during the day is ideal. Then letting them sleep at night in their crib or somewhere specific that’s quiet and dark will help them differentiate between a nap time and a bedtime and they’ll be more likely to sleep longer stretches at night.

You'll be able to figure it out when the time comes. It will be whatever works best; there are no hard and fast rules. 
In the early days, baby will sleep wherever. Newborns sleep through any noise (unless it's the middle of the night and you're right to be especially quiet 😅) As they get older (3 months or so), you may want to establish more of a consistent sleeping spot. 
Really, don't stress. Same spot as bedtime, or in a swing. However you can both get sleep safely!

Any of those are safe. Baby should not sleep once out of car in a car seat.

In the beginning my babies usually nap on me. At night they sleep in the bassinet. After a few months we move them to a crib. In the beginning your in survival mode so where ever you can get that baby to sleep, safely of course, is where they sleep. Mine would nap in the baby carrier sometimes so I could get something done while still holding them.

Wherever works for your family. My boy slept in his Moses basket attachment for his playpen most times. It was set up in my room. It was far enough away that I could be a little loud and know he wouldn’t be startled, but close enough that he could hear me putzing away in the kitchen or I could hear him cry. Sometimes he napped in his swing, sometimes on me, sometimes in bed with me, sometimes the crib in his room. Just depended on the day and what I was doing while he slept
