In my house it’s like sex and masturbation are natural but like the forbidden topic to bring up.

I grew up with a super Christian mom who is really set in her religious beliefs. One of which is “No sex before marriage” another is “Lust is a sin, aka, you shouldn’t masturbate because in order to do that you have to lust.”

It really bothers me. I masturbate, but feel really guilty about it. Also, I’m not a virgin and when my mom found out... she immediately slut shamed me, put me on birth control, and actually grounded me.
