Feels like baby doesn’t need me

I decided to breastfeed and I feel like the only thing my baby wants me for is food. She rarely calms down for me when she’s crying unless i feed her. She will calm down for dad just by him walking with her and patting her back. I don’t even feel like she needs me because she could just get used to formula, then I’m worthless to her. I love her so much, so this is a super crushing feeling. Have cried about it almost every day for the last week. I just want her to need and want me. 😔😭
