Do you mark spotting as your period on here or not?

So for the past five years at least I barely have a period. It's been almost non existent ... It used to be HORRIBLE CRIME SCENE, so I'm not complaining...

I have an IUD now since having my son but still I was wondering... Do you log spotting as a period? Should I?

I was supposed to start Monday, but Tuesday was when the cramps started happening and the spotting began. Went the rest of the evening without it and then bled a little today and stopped again... Still having cramps and back pains. The signs always there but the blood, not so much...
