Ok ladies and gents I have a dilema. My boyfriend and I have been together 5 years and have 2 kids together. We’ve had the normal ups and downs but overall we’re a happy healthy relationship. We both don’t drink daily just on our nights off or when we get a chance to escape and have a date night. So here’s my dilema, I absolutely cannot stand him when he drinks! He gets extremely dumb and if I ask tell him anything I have to repeat myself many times because he doesn’t get it, the way he slurs just irks my nerves and I’m just so annoyed and irritated when he gets like this. And the thing is, that is normal drunk behavior and it isn’t even anything bad that he’s doing so I don’t know why i get so annoyed. And on top of all that i feel like a hypocrite because i know I act that way or worse when im drunk and he’s not bothered by it. And I’ve only started getting annoyed by this like last year so I’m not sure why this change. I haven’t said anything to him about it because what am I going to say “hey when you drink and act like a chill normal drunk person I’m annoyed” lol no. So I guess I’m asking for advise on how not to feel sooooo irritated by something that’s not even bad
