Short lutheal phase while breastfeeding
If you know that you ovulate but have a short lutheal phase, look into progesterone cream! I think I got pregnant because of it twice in two months. I have a 20 months old that is attached to the boob day and night. I had a 5 lutheal phase of five days and the month I used the cream I had a chemical, but I'm 8 weeks now and my doctor told me the hormones of breastfeeding won't affect the pregnancy now. You have to take it a day after you ovulate and test 14 days later, if it's negative stop and your period will start. If not, continue until 10 or 12 weeks and stop slowly after that.
I'm sorry if this post comes off as me being a know-it-all, I know some of you have researched a lot and know everything about fertility, but I'm so sure it was the cream that I wanted to say it in case it helps someone. Also, it is important that the only active ingredient is USP progesterone, like the brand Emerita, because some have other herbs that could be unsafe for pregnancy. And it is very important at first to use it very regularly every 12 hours, since a drop in progesterone is what brings a period.
