Working mom needs advice...

Hey all, first let me just thank all of you here for being the fierce and supportive group of Bad A** women we all need in life.

So partner and I are trying to conceive after a miscarriage in March. We got the all clear from doc two months ago and had one late period since. We got so excited last month only to be let down and I'm really hoping that August will be our month.

My question is, my partner and I remodel homes for our job and the labor is really intensive--we do most of the work ourselves--and not to mention it's hot AF.

Can manual labor like this affect conception? To put it in perspective we paint, hang sheetrock, do carpentry work, you name it.

My OBGYN says it's hard to say what can hurt or harm conception chances.

But I can't help wondering is this why we miscarried in March?

I know it's sour thoughts and possibly a lot of worrying on my part but I could really appreciate the advice and your experience on this.

Also, here's a picture of us on date night enjoying the heck out of each other before fertile days come. ;)
