Wondering if any other ladies are also going crazy being at home? I’m off on maternity leave for 12 months and I’m debating going back to work early. I love my career- I’m a manager at a large company and make just about 50% of our household income. It only matters because while I’m off on leave I’m only getting a fraction of my full wage so we’re on a much tighter budget (like $4000/month less). Besides finances, I just miss my work. I miss being there every day and all of my coworkers who have become my friends. I feel guilty thinking about leaving my baby with someone else but being home all day is really starting to get to me. I feel unproductive and like I’m not accomplishing everything that I should be. Just curious to see if I’m alone in this feeling or not. If anyone has voluntarily gone back to work early from their leave I’d love to hear your stories.
