Help anyone have dogs!!

Ok ladies so I have a question just curious to see if anyone has any insight as to "why does my boyfriends brothers dog keep sleeping in front of my door"??for the last going on two weeks he's been doing this im going on 30weeks pregnant Monday and im just curious he never sleeps infront of his owners door always the living room and I mean I give him water and attention her and there but my room is always closed because I have two cats ..hes never done this before could he be sensing something or am I overthinking it sorry ive never had a dog but my boyfriend and in laws noticed he's always following me now.Thanks u guys
