Will my feet go back to normal?

Hi all! 32 weeks tomorrow....almost there! Anyone else not fit into your shoes anymore? I'm normally a size 6 but NOTHING fits anymore. My feet have gotten wider not longer. I soak them in Epsom salt all the time but no luck.
They are like balloons with little Vienna sausages 😂
Will my feet go back to normal after delivery or is my shoe collection lost?

If it is swelling only, then your feet will go back to normal shortly after delivery. But feet often will "grow" during pregnancy. You are much more likely to experience the widening and elongation of your feet during pregnancy if you previously had high arches and / or if you have high levels of the hormone relaxin in your system. Relaxin loosens joints for baby to move more easily through your pelvis, but it also loosens the connective tissue in your feet and can cause them to flatten out a bit. Wearing shoes with good arch support is supposed to help. But mostly its just genetics.

With my first pregnancy my feet grew and they never went back to the previous size. 😩

This is what I learned from my last pregnancy. If they have grown length wise they never go back. I went from a size 10 to 11. If it is swelling it can take up to 8 weeks for the swelling to go down. Everyone wants to say it will immediately go down, but for some of us it doesn’t.

I can’t fit any shoe that wraps around my foot. I have to wear sandals. I read that most of the time it goes back to normal but sometimes you just go up in size after pregnancy. Drink lots of water and try to elevate your feet as much as you can
