Hi. I feel like crying. So I just started this job. The interview went great and I got hired on the spot. And it was for a cashier position. I worked for one day. And I just got a call today this morning from my manager and she said that they couldn’t move forward with me because of my background check. Since I have a misdemeanor and it was for shoplifting but this all happened in 2016. Long story. Wrong place wrong time. I’m so sad. And I feel discouraged. I was so happy to have finally found a job and now I just feel hopeless. Should I keep going. Should I give up. ? Should I keep looking for a job. ? Or will I never get hired ... this is so sad and I feel like crying.
