The pill

I’m new to the pill, I’m 14 and I got it to help with my skin and make my periods lighter, yesterday my period was due in 2 days but when I got home from the doctors I was bleeding so I assumed it had came early so I took the first pill at 6:30pm ( the doctor told me to take the first pill on the first day of my period ) I found out that it was just spotting cause it stopped over night but then I got my period the morning after, Will the fact that I took the first pill while I was spotting change anything? It’s a combination pill btw
