Subchorionic hematoma

Last night I had heavy bleeding and thought I was having a miscarriage. (I’m 11 weeks along) the ER told me it was a subchorionic hematoma. I am in bed and pelvic rest until the bleeding and cramping stops. They don’t know how it happened or gave me a time line of recovery. ( my OB said the same thing this morning) so have any of you dealt with this before? Any tips or tricks?
