When should dentist appointments begin?

My son is nearing 2 and I was wondering when he should start seeing a dentist or how old some of your liittle ones were when you began dentist appointments

When they get their first teeth or around one year depending on the dentist office.

My son turned 2 in May. He hasn’t gone yet. I plan to get him scheduled soon though. But I’ve heard a lot of offices don’t see kids until they are even 2 or so. But I’m not really sure. I never had concerns about my sons teeth and we brush them everyday. So I guess I figured waiting until now was perfectly fine. Plus his doctor never told me we needed to go sooner. I honestly can’t picture my 2 year old toddler to sit for the dentist either though so not really sure how we are even going to manage this haha.
