So my Bf does care and listen when I vent about work, but am realizing he only gives me practical advice and he doesn’t support me or say thing like you can do it! You’re smart

Is it wrong for me to want him to say things like that? I’m already a pragmatic person, so all the things he says I already know in my head, I just want to vent.

Is he just showing me his way of showing support? I never have anyone hype me up :(
