Diastasis recti and labor?

I’ve got very bad ab separation from my first pregnancy.I’m just wondering if it might cause problems during labor with this pregnancy. Because the muscles aren’t together does it cause issues with pushing?

No it won’t because we all get while we are pregnant and still push these babies out. The problem is after, I had a big gap with my first and it’s because I didn’t wrap my belly post partum and I started working my abs too early after birth. This time around I’m prepared with a work out program and 3 different types of wraps for belly!

I don’t recall in the class I took that it would be an issue during pregnancy so much as after. If it’s a huge issue go see a women’s PT. You want to get that looked at!!
