Neck rash ?

Hi all, I just noticed my little guy has this rash in his neck folds . I have cleaned it, let it air dry and put aquaphor on it. Is this something I need to see the doctor about ? Doesn’t seem to bother him at all

Aww my baby has gotten something similar, I put some diaper rash cream on and it really helped

I know it looks bad, but give it a day or two of drying and cream and it’ll be back to normal. We go through this with my girl every few weeks and it takes a day or so but putting cream on it (especially overnight) clears it right up. But go to the pediatrician if it doesn’t get better in a few days of applying cream!

Get some baby powder from like Burt’s bees or honest company they don’t have the talc powder in it and put that on it and it really helps! I put it on my LO to help prevent it there and her armpits

Called my doctor about this same rash a few weeks ago. He said bathe daily (summer months are tough- rash is from drool or being sweaty) and make sure skin is washed and dried completely and then put corn starch in it (baby powder is a No anymore). For 2-3 days out hydrocortisone cream on it and if t doesn’t go away to come in.
I also bought Dove Baby Tip to Toe wash (switched from Aveeno) and I like it much better.

We had similar, photo attached, went to doctors on Monday, it's a yeast infection as that area can get really moist and hard to dry. He gave us some antifungal cream and it looks loads better already

My LO gets this! It’s common on babies this age because of their chunky neck folds (which I love)! I clean it throughout the day (usually when I change his diaper I wipe it down) and put diaper cream on there! It usually goes away fast! But this is normal to reoccur until they start sitting on their own, crawling etc

I agree with the others, if it doesn’t go away from just keeping it as dry as possible and using aquaphor or some kind of vapor barrier on it, go to the pediatrician. They have some extra strength stuff you can use, or could tell you if it’s fungal and give you stuff to heal that.
