So getting the IUD inserted was horrific to me, but does it hurt as bad getting it taken out?

I’ve heard it’s not painful. Sometimes when they come out on their own the person doesn’t even feel it.

It’s not nearly as bad as the insertion! You could still take some ibuprofen ahead of time and do it when your cervix is more open (around your period or ovulation) and that will help

Getting the IUD in was also horrific for me. Extreme cramps instantly that lasted for a day and my blood pressure dropped and I almost fainted. However, getting the IUD out was a dream for me.. no fainting spells and basically painless
