Alright so I guess I need to get this out. I was sexually assaulted back in January. It took me til April to do something about it. I went to a department at my college that is supposed to help with disciplinary action towards the guy who did it. Turns out he doesn't even go to my school like I thought so they can't help me. They suggested that I go to the police in the fall when I come back but I'm afraid that creating a case with disrupt my studies. I'm in my last year if undergrad and I really need to do well. I want the guy to have consequences but I also just want to focus on myself. What do I do?
