So should I date someone I just meet not to long ago? So what had happened was I was on bumble and I swiped on a guy that looked like a fuck boi but we are both Latin Asian mix and it’s really hard to find someone who knows the struggles. So that same day we’re texting and he’s cool but he seems too excited. He asks if I’m free so we can meet because he’s leaving the next day. So I was like aw fuck it I need to do something dumb and reckless for once. So I get off of work and I have my friend drive me around and I FaceTime him and he’s at a cook out. Later we have him tell us where he lives so we could meet. It’s crazy because I’ve lived in the same area for my whole life and never meet him before. We talk for like 3 hours and it’s late at night the sky was perfect like there was some lightning, and the sky was pink and people were playing with fireworks it felt like those teen movies. We talked about our feelings and how we’re really similar and just having similar struggles it was great like the perfect date. Not only that but he was the one that was upset he was like why do I meet this cool person right before I have to leave. But we’ve been texting for like 2 weeks now and he has plans to come home soon but that’s like a whole month away. He has told me that I’m the only person he’s talking to and he’s really sweet. He respects me and my boundaries he always ask if he’s doing too much and he holds himself back because I feel uncomfortable with large amounts of compliments. So what do you guys think?
