My husband is using a month of my maternity leave in September, so we will be off together, and have decided we will go on a road trip through Europe (we live in UK) for around 3 weeks.

We have a VW transporter which is already converted for us to sleep in, but husbna dis currently building a bunk bed type thing for the travel cot to go on, baby will be 5 months when we set off. We plan on spending most nights in the van on camp sites

Does anyone have any advice, or can foresee any obstacles for such a trip for such a young baby? The things I thought of so far are safe sleep, temperature regulation (the van is insulated so comfortable, and I have a groegg thermometer) and bathing.

Anyone have any tips on safe and comfortable sleep in particular?
