How do you feel about a minor getting a tattoo I'd they have thought about it and have legal consent from parent/guardian

I got my first tattoo when I was 12 a week from turning 13. My mother approved. I am 16 and have 3 tattoos thinking of getting another one.

My little brother wanted a Pretty Little Liars tattoo when he was 14- he is now 16 and glad he wasn't allowed to
Some tattoos I would understand- tattoos in memory of a loved one for instance. As long as the parents are moderating what they get and where then sure, it's better than them getting a stick and poke done by a friend I suppose 🤷

Depends on how serious they are. Some people are 14 and do it for shits and giggles and never thought it through which seems irresponsible. If you do research and KNOW for a while what you want then sure hell w it you do you

My mom and I got matching tattoos when I was 16... I turned out just fine. Got another at 17, 20, 23 and 24.
