Should people have to ‘come out’ to announce their sexuality??

Should? Or do? 
I think people “come out” because everyone expects them to be one way or another... so they have to someone share with their loved ones the truth. The truth “comes out” somehow.
As much as we’d like to say, “nah, no way! They shouldn’t have to!” Ya, they shouldn’t have to, and I don’t really know how “coming out” looks except by telling your loved ones anyway, even if it’s normalized, because some people (parents?) probably had a vision of who you’d be and now that vision has changed (even if they dont care, it may just not be how they imagined it).

I think if anyone was sick of friends/family joking about how they “haven’t had a boyfriend” or “haven’t brought a girl home” then they should speak up. Most times, sexuality is obvious, but it’s nice for all parties to know how to address those situations. I won’t ask someone why they prefer— sexuality or pronouns— if they expect to be treated a certain way based on those options then they need to make clear which ones.
