Periods after Paragard insertion.

So I had the paragard put in back in May, and my first period on it was normal. I am very blessed in that "a normal period" for me is a 3 day extremely light period with zero cramps. Like I had never had cramps..... until my second period after insertion. They werent bad, just some discomfort that I noticed. Also instead of my usual 3 days it was 5 and I actually had to use a regular tampon (normally only have to use light). Now I know that that is still in the overall norm for women, but it isnt "my normal." I was told that my periods might change, but might possibly go back after a few months. What has been y'all's experience as far as period change with the paragard? Did you notice a change? Did it revert back?
