So my boyfriend and I got into an argument today because apparently I was (and always have been) “disconnected” during handjobs. He used the example of not looking at him during it which I don’t really agree with.

I said to him that maybe I’m just not doing the things he wants me to do, and not necessarily being disconnected which he then fought with “you’re making it about your feelings rather than having an adult conversation about our sex life”. Thoughts? Is he right in asking me to do more or is it just a case of people being different during sexual acts?

I said to him that it’s different than actual sex, which I still stand by. Everyone acts differently depending on what they’re doing.
