Bruised belly button?

My belly button feels sore and bruised. Thinking it might be from my waist trainer but I'm too scared to Google it. Anyone else??

Is your belly button popped out at all? Mine felt like this recently and it turns out I have a small umbilical hernia. They checked it by having me lie flat and then putting their fingers in my belly button and then having me cough. The doctor said he could feel the hernia pop out slightly when I coughed. I basically reduced it myself by pushing it back in (doctor said it was okay to do this). This was all just my own experience though so I would check with your own doctor! PS  I had a vaginal delivery, not a c section so if you had a c section it might be something totally different!
