How old was your baby when you started showering with them in the shower?  
Ive seen some mothers do it as early as their baby is 6 months.

When she was like 8 weeks old. 😂
Was so much faster to shower with her, and got her used to the feeling from a young age. 
She’s 15 months and loves a shower now. We really only run a bath if I don’t need to shower, and then I put some bath toys in with her 🤷🏻‍♀️

About 5-6 months. He loved having the water in the tub though lol so we always went back and forth. Showers for quick rinsing but 99% of the time it was baths for bedtime every night

When my kids sit up well unsupported. If you put a wet washcloth under their booties it helps them from sliding around the bathtub.
