I’m 20 years old, about a year or so ago I was diagnosed with endometriosis and it’s taken a toll on my health. Not just my physical health but mental help as well. I was on the depo shot for a few months but my insurance doesn’t cover it anymore and my last shot was in December. I was feeling 50/50 about taking it anyways. My doctor was telling me the problems with endo and the infertility side of it. it scares me Bcs my boyfriend/future husband wants kids and I feel bad Bcs there’s always that possibly of not being able to. I’ve heard all the cons about the depo shot and how women have been trying to have kids for years and not have been able to. I feel hopeful even having endo but I’m still concerned Bcs my grandmother has it and had kids but she had a lot of miscarriages. I just wanted to share my story in hopes that there’s someone like me out there who can help. My periods are so irregular and so painful, I’m not even sure what to do. I can’t function properly.
